Southwest Michigan Trailways Efforts

There are many local Trailways Efforts that are currently underway in Southwest Michigan.  Below you will find those projects listed.

1. IN-MI River Valley Trail

2. Saugatuck-South Haven Blue Star Trail

3. Harbor Country (Townships of Chikaming, New Buffalo and Three Oaks)

4. McCoy's Creek Trail (City of Buchanan)

The SWMPC has also completed a 9 county non-motorized transportation plan that can be viewed below.

Thank you for your interest in Trails and Roadways in Southwest Michigan.  The SWMPC is excited to report that with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) funding, a new map and non-motorized plan will be developed by the SWMPC and its partners the counties of Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Van Buren.
