Niles Charter Township recently (2008) completed their five-year Community Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Greenway Plan.
The planning process included a "Public Visioning Session" at the Niles Township Hall, a survey, an inventory and assessment of current park conditions, and several meetings with a steering committee. The public was invited to review the draft plan and attend a public hearing to comment on the plan.
