TwinCATS Unified Planning Work Program
The Twin Cities Area Transportation Study (TwinCATS) Unified Work Program (UWP) describes all of the transportation and supporting planning activities that are anticipated to be carried out by Southwest Michigan Planning Commission(SWMPC) staff annually. This program document is adopted in cooperation with MDOT, the MPO members and SWMPC to ensure that the most pressing regional transportation issues in the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph area are being addressed by the TwinCATS MPO. The UWP is also a requirement for receiving federal funding for transportation projects.
