  • Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)
    • TwinCities Area Transportation Study

The Southwest Michigan Planning Commission is working with Benton Charter Township, St. Joseph Charter Township, the Berrien County Road Department, MDOT, and others on a plan to make it easier, safer, and more appealing to walk and bike along Napier Avenue.

We would like to know your priorities for improving the corridor, issues you face walking or biking along the road, and your preferences for possible solutions.

Please join us at an open house to give us your feedback on the future of Napier Avenue. Refreshments will be provided and a Spanish interpreter will be available. The public open house will include various interactive stations for the public to learn more about the Napier Avenue Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan and the existing conditions surrounding the corridor today as well as provide input on how the corridor is utilized, identify opportunities for improving pedestrian and bicycle access along the corridor, and select their top priorities for the future of the corridor.

Refreshments will be provided, and you are welcome to drop in at any time. Presentations will be made at 4:30 and 5:30.
