The 2013 Southwest Michigan State of the Region Report is chock full of graphics and data that measure trends and the performance of Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties. We hope that the new format of this report allows for greater accessibility and engagement with the data. It is our hope that this report empowers our citizens, non-profits, public agencies, businesses, and elected officials to advocate for the changes they wish to see in their communities, and to act in preservation of those factors that already contribute towards a high quality of life in Southwest Michigan.

Below you will find the Report, broken into chapters. These are large files and it is NOT recommended that you try to download them if you are using a dial-up connection. It is also NOT recommended that you try to print the document. The document has been optimized here for screen viewing, and will not print with the correct page alignment. Please contact Brandon Kovnat at kovnatb@swmpc.org if you or your organization would like a hard copy.

Appendix Data Files

We hope you will use these detailed appendix files to repackage and analyze the data the Report presents for your own needs. Direct links to these files are also in the Report itself.

These files are in Excel (.xls) format. The data for Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties are usually within different tabs of the same file. To scroll through the different tabs, please look towards the bottom of the Excel window and you should see the tabs. It is still not recommend that you print the appendix files. However, the files can be printed on standard letter size paper.  Please use the "Print Preview" function in Excel to determine whether a particular table would best be displayed in portrait or landscape orientation. If you encounter any issues with the appendix files, please contact Brandon Kovnat at kovnatb@swmpc.org
