SAFETY DAY AND BIKE RODEO IN BARODA
The Village of Baroda and the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission are partnering to bring you a DAY OF SAFETY! On Sunday October 11, 2009 in downtown Baroda. This FREE event will take place in the Village of Baroda on Main Street (on First St, in front of the fire station) from 2-4pm.
Activities Include:
- Bike Rodeo for ages 6-15 and adults (pre-registration for this specific safety day event is required-contact Suzann Flowers at 269-925-1137 x 17 or by email at flowerss@swmpc.org)
- Bike registration by the Baroda Lake Police Dept.
- Water Safety information from the U.S. Coast Guard
- McGruff the Crime Dog
- Finger printing by Berrien County Sheriffs Dept.
- Drug Dog Demonstration
- Booster Seat Demonstration by Safe Kids Coalition Lakeland HealthCare
- Blood typing by the MI Community Blood Center
- Fire Truck from Baroda Twp
- The Bridgman City Fire Department will bring their Fire Safety House to show you how to escape a house full of smoke!
Free popcorn, games and other safety info will also be available.
