Are you planning a project, program or activity that seeks to improve our region's economic health? If so, the SWMPC would like to know about it!
As the Economic Development District coordinator for Southwest Michigan (Berrien, Cass and Van Buren Counties), the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission submits an annual report to the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). This report includes a list of a wide variety of projects, programs and activities within Southwest Michigan that affect the region's economic health. We include projects that local governments and economic developers submit to the SWMPC through this process; these become part of the region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
Include your projects, programs and activities in this process (and the CEDS 2010 Annual Update) by completing the Submission Form by the end of July, 2010.
